With the goal of growing general and military related aviation events to stimulate the local economy, our first event in 2008 was a great start to a bright future for our region.

The 2008 Red Bull Air Race was categorically a HUGE success for Red Bull, sponsors and the businesses in City of Detroit and Windsor and abroad. Thanks to the magic of Red Bull and the cooperation of all the various stakeholders from City of Detroit and the City of Windsor, World History was made with the first International Red Bull Air Race.

The iconic banks of both countries along the Detroit River offer the most spectacular vantage points and options for watching the excitement while taking in our World-Class international hospitality offerings. With over 750,000 spectators and the most air race tickets sold for any air race, 2009 promises to be another huge success for businesses on both sides!
